Thank you to all the Southern Californians who made it out to The Snowmelt's Mill Creek Clean Up Day this past Saturday. The day started out looking pretty gloomy but as we drove out of the clouds into the San Bernardino National Forest we were greeted by a beautiful sunny day. The turnout was great we had over 40 smiling faces ready to get a bit dirty in hopes of restoring Mill Creek to its natural beauty. SGWA and The Wildlands Conservancy hosted some great lectures on the history of Mill Creek and its geological uniqueness and a Leave No Trace talk for those who attended. We were also fortunate enough to have these amazing organizations as well as local education professionals hosting a variety of great children's activities. Smokey The Bear along with other supporters like Honey Stinger, 5.10, Dirty Gourmet, Stell Coffee and Tea, Jacinto Farms, Los Rios Ranch, Threshold Rock Climbing Gym, Mill Creek Studios and Party Plus Rentals all helped to pull this day together and made it the event possible. And again we want to thank all who came out to the event and feel free to click the link for photos of the event.
