One of The Snowmelt Expedition members tackle a Colorado 14er

With everyone stepping it up and putting it high gear, It was Jonathan Daniel who recently took on Longs Peak in Colorado. Longs peak is one of Colorado's 53 peaks above 14,000ft and located in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Longs peak was first summited in 1868 by John Wesley Powell and party but was named after Major Stephen Long, who explored the area in the 1820s.
Jonathan and two others, John and Scott made their ascent via the Trough. http://www.summitpost.org/trough/160362 and from the looks of things these guys endured a broad spectrum of the weather mother nature had to offer. Well done guys! Man balls.
