I am very pleased to bring to you some fresh and exiting news. The Snowmelt has joined the efforts of the SGWA. The San Gorgonio Wilderness Association has taken on the responsibility of caring for a large portion of the San Bernardino National Forest and it can only do so with the support from you and I. It was in these very mountains that I developed my love for the outdoors, it was on it's trails that led me down a new path, and it was its views that opened my eyes to a whole new world.
When I started this whole adventure I knew it could be something bigger than just a guy planning to climb a mountain most have never heard of before or where it even was, it could be bigger than the annoying goal that always seems to be on my lips. And it is now with the support of those who support The Snowmelt we are able to support the SGWA.
The Snowmelt has been so fortunate to have the support of so many amazing people and companies that will now give us a chance to do something great. We know that a big need of the SGWA is support from folks like you and I. The support and needs of this mountain and other mountains just as delicate comes in a variety of forms. Whether it be educating others and being a steward of this land, devoting time as a volunteer, or becoming a member or donating, it can be quite easy to do your part in protecting places like this for generations to come. So this is my official pledge to do my part.
This past Friday was also quite exiting for me and the team as we all received packages from Vonzipper. The guys at VZ are not only stoked on us climbing Denali but they are even more stoked on the developments with SGWA and they were gracious enough to send out a special package of product that will be auctioned off with the proceeds benefiting the San Gorgonio Wilderness Association. So we want to say THANK YOU VonZipper for your support of our team and more importantly your support of the SGWA. Now....... as soon as I figure out a way to host this auction you guys will be the first to know. Also keep an eye out as we will also be releasing a limited edition tee produced by yet another one of our amazing supporters with proceeds of that also benefiting the SGWA. I am so happy with all of this and again want to say thank you to all involved, together we can do something great!
