Staying on track
Long weekends, little sleep and too much indulgence in the finer things of life seem to be the enemy of a training schedule that demands all of my attention. After taking an extra day off this last week I put it into overdrive last night to get back what I lost. I am beginning to see that its not going to be the climb itself that is the most difficult but the months leading up to my endeavor. That being said its, when you come face to face with the reason your doing what your doing it perpetuates the idea of standing on top of your dream and just like that I'm back on track. It is in our nature to stumble but the nature of it is I must get up and keep going. My journey will be long and it wont come without lots of heartache and pain but getting through those things is why we strive to reach something epic and in the end I feel it will all be worth it.
