The days fall from the calendar as if they are kin to the Fall, with that everyday becomes more important than the last and as we get down to the wire our boy Kevin is now on board! Kevin is yet another like minded adventurer who scrolled through the postings on Summitpost and found us. Background: Have always been a big fan of anything outdoors. Been lucky enough to have traveled and backpacked all over the United States. Served 3 years in the Army and am glad to be back home to continue climbing again. Now an Avid backpacker and mountaineerer. Intermediate rock climber, volunter as a rock climbing instructor for the Boy Scouts.
Training Prep: Snow mountaineering throughout this winter. Backcountry snowboarding. Mt. Whitney summit via mountaineer’s route this January. Alpine Ascents 8 day Denali Mountaineering course in April.
Hobbies: Snow! Snow! Snow! I love snowboarding, and am on Mammoth Mountain from opening day until the spring. Reading and anything outdoors. Also like photography. I have a lot of hobbies but those are the big ones.
Future goal: To continue to learn as much as possible and travel to the most remote corners of the earth.
We are psyched to rope up with Kevin as we know each person brings something different to our group and the more committed, competent and determine the members the safer and better our chances are to make it to the summit of our adventure NORTH.
